Subscriptions and Billing

GardenBot Pro is offered through Apple in-app purchase and managed with RevenueCat entitlement syncing. Subscription options, prices, renewal periods, trials, offers, taxes, and availability are shown by the App Store before purchase and can vary by country and time.

What GardenBot Pro Unlocks

GardenBot Pro may include premium access such as:

  • more or unlimited active plants, depending on the plan shown in the app;
  • reminder features available to your plan;
  • premium AI access and higher AI limits where available;
  • other premium features shown in the app.

Some AI features can still be limited by technical availability, abuse-prevention controls, operational limits, safety controls, or temporary service restrictions.

Apple ID and Purchase Ownership

GardenBot Pro purchases are linked to the Apple ID that completed the App Store purchase, not only to the GardenBot account shown in the app.

If Pro access is missing, first confirm that the active subscription appears under the same Apple ID in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Then open GardenBot and use Restore purchases while signed in to the GardenBot account where you want Pro access.

If you use multiple Apple IDs, family devices, or changed Apple IDs recently, the App Store may not return the purchase to GardenBot until you restore from the Apple ID that owns the subscription.

Restore Purchases

If you bought GardenBot Pro but the app still shows Free:

  1. Open GardenBot > Settings.
  2. Tap Restore purchases.
  3. Stay connected to the internet while GardenBot verifies the purchase.
  4. If the issue continues, restart the app and try again.

If restore still fails, contact support with your app version, iOS version, and the approximate purchase date. Do not send payment card details.

Manage or Cancel a Subscription

You can manage GardenBot Pro from:

  • GardenBot > Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription, when shown; or
  • iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > GardenBot.

Deleting GardenBot, deleting your GardenBot account, or signing out does not cancel an App Store subscription. You must cancel through Apple if you do not want the subscription to renew.

If you cancel, Pro access usually remains available until the end of the current paid period unless Apple or the App Store purchase state says otherwise.

Family Sharing

GardenBot Pro is available to the Apple ID that purchased it. Family Sharing is controlled by Apple and the subscription configuration shown in the App Store. If the App Store does not show GardenBot Pro as shareable, family members should not expect Pro access from another person’s purchase.

Refunds

Apple handles App Store refund decisions and payment disputes. GardenBot cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Payment Issues

If the App Store reports a billing issue:

  1. Check your Apple ID payment method.
  2. Confirm that your subscription is active in iOS Settings.
  3. Open GardenBot and use Restore purchases.
  4. Contact Apple Support for payment or refund questions.

Redeem Codes

If you have a GardenBot offer or redemption code, use GardenBot > Settings > Redeem code where available. Code availability and eligibility are controlled by Apple and the App Store.

What to Send to Support

For subscription issues, please send only information needed to investigate entitlement status. Useful details include:

  • whether GardenBot Pro appears as active in iOS Settings;
  • the GardenBot sign-in method or account email, if relevant;
  • the approximate purchase or renewal date;
  • the product shown by Apple, such as monthly or annual;
  • a screenshot of the GardenBot subscription screen or Apple subscription screen if safe to share.

Do not send payment card numbers, Apple ID passwords, full receipts, recovery codes, or identity documents.

Contact Support

Use Contact GardenBot and include:

  • the GardenBot account email or sign-in method, if relevant;
  • whether the subscription appears in iOS Settings;
  • the app version and iOS version;
  • a screenshot of the GardenBot subscription screen, if safe to share.

Do not send full receipts, payment card numbers, or Apple ID passwords.
